Rick Henderson
Chief Executive Officer
Rick Henderson joined BriteCap as CEO in 2024, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in financial services and small business lending. Prior to joining BriteCap, Rick served as Chief Revenue Officer at CAN Capital, where he played a key role in the company's turnaround, driving origination growth, expanding distribution channels, and improving credit performance.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Marlin Capital Solutions and CIT Bank, where he helped build and scale equipment finance, franchise finance, and working capital platforms across both direct and partner channels. At BriteCap, Rick focuses on disciplined growth, strong credit outcomes, and building scalable infrastructure to support long-term execution.
Paul Broude
Chief Financial Officer
Paul Broude joined BriteCap as CFO in March 2026 to lead finance, accounting, and strategic investment opportunities. Paul has spent 20+ years of his career in the financial services industry, including 13 years at Fidelity Investments and 4 years as CFO, North America at FNZ (a private equity backed fintech). He has also spent time as CFO at Merrimak Capital and Yak Communications.
Paul began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a qualified CPA in Canada and the United States. At BriteCap, Paul focuses on strengthening financial operations, reporting, and strategic capital planning to support the company's growth.
Dave Lafferty
Chief Credit Officer
Dave Lafferty joined BriteCap in 2024 as Chief Credit Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in credit, risk management, and capital markets within small business finance. Prior to joining BriteCap, Dave held senior credit and capital markets leadership roles at established commercial finance platforms, including CAN Capital and Marlin Business Services, where he oversaw credit policy, underwriting, portfolio performance, and asset sales.
At BriteCap, Dave focuses on implementing sound credit strategy and maintaining disciplined portfolio performance in a high-growth environment.
Molly Coleman
Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel
Molly Coleman has served BriteCap since 2011 and currently leads the company's legal, compliance, and administrative functions as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. She oversees legal and regulatory matters, enterprise compliance, and operational governance, and plays a key role in supporting strategic initiatives and risk management across the organization.
Prior to joining BriteCap, Molly practiced corporate law at large, international law firms, including Morgan Lewis, Brobeck, and Irell, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing transactions, and general corporate matters. At BriteCap, Molly focuses on enabling growth while maintaining disciplined legal and regulatory oversight.
David Chiu
Chief Technology Officer
David Chiu joined BriteCap in 2024 as Chief Technology Officer, leading the company's technology organization where he is responsible for platform development, systems architecture, and technology strategy in support of BriteCap's operational and growth objectives.
Prior to BriteCap, David held technology leadership roles at several financial technology and data-driven organizations, including Dun & Bradstreet, Dave.com, and FTX, where he focused on building and scaling secure, high-performance systems. At BriteCap, David's focus is on creating reliability and scalability for the business through technology enablement.
Tim Amero
Senior Vice President, Originations
Tim Amero joined BriteCap as Senior Vice President of Sales in 2024, bringing more than 17 years of experience in small business financing. Prior to joining BriteCap, Tim held sales leadership roles at major commercial finance companies, including CAN Capital, Marlin Capital Solutions, and CIT Bank, building a reputation for scaling high-performing teams and modernizing sales operations across working capital, equipment leasing, and franchise financing.
At BriteCap, Tim's focus is leading sales strategy and execution across distribution channels, with a focus on scalable growth, partner development, and delivering financing solutions aligned with customer needs.
